KLX model FITS: Kawasaki, KLX, XR, African Twin
Looking for more boot support when standing on a Kawasaki KLX or Honda XR during trail and mixed-surface rides? This KLX-mount footpeg system offers an 82 × 65 mm Trail platform or a larger 107 × 65 mm Adventure platform. Both use the Flex-Mount system for platform rotation, vibration damping and adjustable flex, with medium-flex A90 bushings supplied. The Enduro option uses a fixed platform that does not rotate or flex; its optional camber adjustment wedge is sold separately.
Choose the platform for your riding position and preferred support area, then match the mount to the exact model and year in the original fitment list below. Listed applications include specific KLX, XR, CR and CRM models; the Africa Twin application is specifically the CRF1000L/DCT from 2016–2017. Do not assume the same mount fits later Africa Twins or every Kawasaki or Honda. Replaceable cleats and serviceable hardware support maintenance after wear; follow the original installation instructions, including the separate torque requirements for the spindle, bushing bolt and platform locking nut.

-Chromoly steel spindles with reusable thread locker. 14mm wrench. Torque spec 40 ft/lbs
-A90 (medium flex) rated bushings
-Cleats and stainless steel machine screws. M3x18mm. These can simply be replaced by going to your local hardware store when damaged or worn out.
-Bushing bolts. 8mm Allen wrench. Torque spec 30 ft/lbs
*IMPORTANT* If you are ever installing the platforms onto the spindle the nylon locking nut torque spec is 2 ft/lbs (hand tight) Once you feel it bottom out stop tightening and visually inspect to make sure the nylon in the nut has engaged with the last couple of threads on the spindle. Over-torquing/tightening will cause the threads to strip and fail.
*We designed our hardware to bend rather than break in a significant impact. A wrench or adjustable wrench will quickly and easily bend the bolt back straight. Please avoid using a hammer. A little leverage from a long-handled wrench or pipe will do the job. The whole system is rebuildable and serviceable.
